The Aix’Meublés association takes the protection of your personal data seriously. This page explains, in plain terms, what data we collect on aixmeubles.com, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Association Aix’Meublés
4 avenue Lord Revelstoke, 73100 Aix-les-Bains, France
Email: assos.aixmeubles@gmail.com – Phone: +33 6 27 17 49 72
2. What data, and what for?
Enquiries about a rental
When you fill in the form on a rental page, we collect your last name, first name, email address, phone number, your message and the rental concerned.
- Purpose: forwarding your enquiry to the owner of the rental so they can reply, and allowing the association to follow it up.
- Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Recipients: the owner of the rental concerned (by email) and the association (copy).
News and special offers by email
If you tick the optional box provided for this purpose, we use your email address to send you news and special offers from Aix Meublés.
- Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by writing to us.
Members’ area (owners who are members of the association)
For member owners, we process the data needed for membership and for publishing their rentals: identity, contact details, login details, rental information and photos, availability calendars and membership fee records.
- Legal basis: performance of the association membership (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- The contact details shown on a rental page are those the member chooses to display.
Availability calendars
Calendars show the available and booked dates of each rental. They may be synchronised with the booking platforms chosen by the owners; only dates are exchanged. If you send a request through a calendar, the information you enter is handled like an enquiry (see above).
Audience measurement
- Google Analytics is only enabled if you accept it in the cookie banner (IP addresses anonymised). Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the “Manage consent” button.
- WP Statistics counts visits directly on our server, anonymously and without cookies, so we know how much the site is used. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in minimal audience measurement.
Running and securing the site
As with any website, our host keeps technical logs (IP address, date, pages requested) to keep the service secure and working properly. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
3. Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. It is only accessible to the people in the association who need it and, depending on the case, to the following recipients:
- the owner of the rental your enquiry is about;
- o2switch (France), the site’s host;
- Google: the association’s email (Gmail), Google Analytics if you have accepted it, display of Google reviews;
- MaCotisation, for managing members’ fees;
- the technical providers in charge of maintaining the site, who are bound by confidentiality.
4. Transfers outside the European Union
Some Google services may involve transferring data to the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
5. How long do we keep your data?
- Enquiries: 3 years after our last exchange.
- News emails: until you unsubscribe, or after 3 years without any interaction from you.
- Members’ data: for the whole membership period, then 3 years; accounting records are kept for 10 years, as required by law.
- Google Analytics: 14 months.
- Cookies: see our cookie policy.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also give instructions on what should happen to your data after your death.
To exercise these rights, email us at assos.aixmeubles@gmail.com or write to the address above. We will reply within one month.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
7. Cookies
To find out about the cookies we use and change your choices, see our cookie policy or click “Manage consent”.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access limited to authorised people, regular backups and site updates.
9. Changes
This policy may change. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
